We have now started on a 2nd vaccinations programme which is going well.
We run clinics on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week at the surgery – this is for the Oxford Astra Zeneca vaccine.
Patients who are due their 2nd Pfizer vaccine will be contacted in the next few days and the clinic will be held on 6th May at Queens Park Medical Practice (next door to us) for patients who had their vaccine around 20th February. If you had your first Pfizer after that there will be another clinic added to accommodate you. We have to be strict on dates with the Pfizer vaccine because it has to administered to patients within 3 days of delivery.

You don’t have to wait for a text or letter, you can ring these numbers to book your SECOND vaccine for both Astra Zeneca and Pfizer. It needs to be administered between 10 and 12 weeks after the first so please don’t try to ask for the vaccine early. We are only supplied with enough to cover the patients who have had their 1st vaccine 10 – 12 weeks previously.
